My daughter began with Pianimals, having never played a musical instrument before. The two teachers she’s had, Mr. Nick and Ms. Deborah, have both been wonderful. Her lessons occurred before, during, and after COVID, and whether the lessons were in-person or virtual she enjoyed them.
Besides developing piano-playing skills, my daughter has gained a lot of confidence. In the beginning, she was hesitant about playing in front of others, but the Pianimals program introduces recitals early on, and in a way that doesn’t overwhelm the kids.

Tremendous experience, Deborah, Maia, Nick, have all been tremendous through challenging times. A rock in the storm. From Zoom to in person, they have been there through it all. The boys love the instructors.
The books have a fun animal theme that makes it easy and fun for kids and parents to understand the notes and chords.
Increased sequence recognition, improved alphabet, regulation of sensory overload, increased patience, repetition and rigor, hand and eye coordination. Oh yea, and live music in the house!

Our children love going to Pianimals and playing the keyboard with Ms. Jean. They look forward to their lesson and have so much fun. There are many educational objectives that are also met during the lessons each week like numbers, counting and following directions. The children really like having their own song book too! Children receive a free trial to see if their child is ready and interested before they sign up. Lessons are month to month so it is very flexible for families.

Our students have really enjoyed learning to play piano with Mr. Nick and the Pianimals program. Everything is child-focused, from the lesson books that feature friendly animals to the familiar songs children easily recognize. They are quickly able to gain a sense of accomplishment, making them eager to learn more.
